General Settings
System
You can turn the system on and off through the 'General Settings' option. This is useful when the system is not easily accessible physically.
Music preferences
The 'Music settings' allow you to customize how the system plays music.
Music play duration after movement
The music play duration indicates the amount of time that the music continues to play after the Qwiek.melody last detects movement.
Next song waiting time
If the Qwiek.melody no longer detects movement, the music stops. If movement is detected again within a certain "waiting time," the last played song continues from the point where the music stopped.
Change music daily
Do you want different music to be played every day? Set the setting to "ON." Do you not want the music to change per day? Set the setting to "OFF." This means that all music on the USB stick will be played in random order.
Volume
Adjust the volume of your Qwiek.melody here.
Fade in/out time
At the start of a song, the volume gradually increases. You can set the duration (in seconds) during which the volume increases using the fade in/out setting.
Time planning
You can set the active times for the Qwiek.melody using the scheduling feature. The Qwiek.melody will only play music when the scheduling is active and the current time falls within the start and stop times. If the scheduling is turned off, the Qwiek.melody will always play music when it detects movement.
Time Planning
Do you want to enable the time schedule for the Qwiek.melody? Set the setting to 'ON'.
Daily Start/Stop Time
Set the time (hh:mm) at which you want the Qwiek.melody to turn on and off.
Current Date and Time
This displays the date and time that is set on the Qwiek.melody.
Manual Time Setting
If the above time is incorrect, use the 'Sync' button to set the current date and time.
Recognition area
This section displays the 'recognition area' of the Qwiek.melody. To specify the area where the camera can detect people, you need to define the boundaries. By adjusting the red dots, you can expand or reduce the camera's detection range.
Sensor preferences
Sensor settings are the advanced settings of the Qwiek.melody. Generally, they are already well configured in advance, so you don't need to make any changes for normal use.
Music Sensitivity
The music sensitivity determines how much movement needs to be detected before the music starts playing. By default, it is set to 'very high' for a quick response. If you decrease the sensitivity, more movement is required before the music starts playing.
Detection Method
The Qwiek.melody is equipped with a camera and motion sensor. The sensor detects people, while the camera detects movement. By default, both the sensor and camera are used together to respond only to movements of people. If only the sensor is used, the Qwiek.melody will play music as soon as a person is detected. The sensor has a range of 8 meters and cannot detect through glass. On the other hand, the camera can be used to respond to any movement. This can be useful if the Qwiek.melody is placed behind glass or if it needs to respond to movements of objects, for example.
Extra Sensor Activation Time
The sensor activation time refers to the duration during which the system actively searches for movement after detecting a person.
