How can I clean the Qwiek.embrace?

The Qwiek.embrace is designed for easy cleaning, allowing for flexible use with multiple care recipients.

Step 1: remove the Qwiek.embrace from the cover

The Qwiek.embrace is easy to remove from its cover. Simply unzip the bottom and carefully slide the Qwiek.embrace out.

Please note: The electronics must not get wet. Never submerge them in water. The inner cushion (gray) can be wiped clean with a slightly damp cloth. For disinfection, you can use products like alcohol (70%) or a mild chlorine solution (250 ppm).

The charging cable and power adapter can be cleaned with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.

Step 2: Wash the cover according to instructions

The cover can be machine washed at 60 °C. Follow the washing instructions on the label inside the cover.

Step 3: Place the Qwiek.embrace back in the cover

Once the cover is clean and completely dry, carefully place the Qwiek.embrace back inside. Make sure the cables and buttons are in the correct position and that all parts are completely dry for safe and proper use.

Tip: Consider ordering an extra cover so the Qwiek.embrace is always available for use while the other cover is being washed. You can find it in our webshop.
