How do I know if the Qwiek.embrace is fully charged?	The battery is fully charged when the Qwiek.embrace is connected to its charger and the indicator LED glows a solid green.
How do I take the Qwiek.embrace out of sleep mode?	The Qwiek.embrace automatically switches off after 5 minutes of inactivity to save the battery. You can easily reactivate it by: Pressing any button. Lifting the Qwiek.embrace. If the device still won't turn on, please check if the battery is dead or if the device is still in transport mode. In that case, you'll need to briefly connect the Qwiek.embrace to its charger first.
How do I take the Qwiek.embrace out of transport mode?	Transport mode is a power-saving feature that prevents the battery from draining. To disable it, simply connect the Qwiek.embrace to its charger. The device will automatically turn on once connected.
How long does the Qwiek.embrace battery last?	A fully charged battery will last for an average of up to 20 hours.

How do I use the Qwiek.embrace with a care recipient?	For comfortable and optimal use of the Qwiek.embrace, follow these steps: Place the cushion for a seated care recipient. Position the Qwiek.embrace with the pouch facing forward, on the recipient's lap. The care recipient can place their hands around the product. Hands can be placed either inside the pouch or in any other comfortable position, depending on their personal preference.
Which sound lists are available and how do I choose the right one?	The Qwiek.embrace comes standard with a selection of 8 carefully curated playlists: Breathing Classical Forest Heartbeat 1 & 2 Meditation Ocean Singing Bowls You can find an up-to-date and complete overview of all available playlists in the Qwiek.app. From there, you can easily select your desired list and play it on the Qwiek.embrace.
What is the purpose of the pouch and how should it be used?	The pouch is designed to offer the user a feeling of comfort and security. By placing their hands in the pouch, the care recipient experiences several benefits: Security: The shape of the pouch embraces the hands, contributing to a feeling of safety. Warmth: The soft teddy fabric inside feels pleasant and warm. Calming Stimulation: The ribbed fabric on the outside can be touched, providing a soothing, tactile stimulation that can help with restlessness.
Is the Qwiek.embrace suitable for everyone?	The Qwiek.embrace is designed to provide comfort and relaxation to a wide range of people. In general, the product is suitable for anyone who needs a calming experience, such as those with dementia, a learning disability, or individuals who have trouble relaxing. However, it's important to consider specific health conditions and the following points: Pacemakers or other implants: The Qwiek.embrace contains an exciter (a vibration element) with a magnet. Although it's small, a strong magnetic field can disrupt the function of pacemakers. Be cautious and never place the product directly over a pacemaker or other implant. When in doubt, it's always best to consult your doctor or cardiologist. Epilepsy: In rare cases, vibrations or sounds can be a trigger for individuals with epilepsy. Maintenance and hygiene

How do I clean the Qwiek.embrace between different users?

To keep the Qwiek.embrace hygienic, you can clean both the outer cover and the inner cushion.

The Outer Cover The cover can be cleaned with a damp cloth or, in case of heavy soiling, it can be washed. For detailed washing instructions, please refer to the care label. We recommend purchasing extra covers so you can use the Qwiek.embrace immediately while the other cover is being cleaned.

The Cushion The cushion itself can be wiped down with a slightly damp cloth. Follow the cleaning instructions as described in the manual or in this article in our help center.

Can the Qwiek.embrace be washed?

The outer cover of the Qwiek.embrace can be washed. The cushion itself can be wiped down with a damp cloth or cleaned according to the instructions found in the manual or our help center.

Can I use the Qwiek.embrace in a wet environment?

The Qwiek.embrace is not suitable for use in a wet environment. While the inner cover can withstand a single drop of moisture, the device must not be submerged in water and no liquids should get inside it.

Technical questions and troubleshooting

What do I do if my Qwiek.embrace won't turn on?	If the Qwiek.embrace won't turn on when you press a button or move it, one of the following may be the cause: The battery is dead. The device is still in transport mode. In both cases, connecting the device to a suitable USB-C charger should solve the problem.
My Qwiek.embrace won't turn on even after I've plugged it in.	If your device won't turn on after you've connected it to a charger, the issue is likely with the power source rather than the Qwiek.embrace itself. To resolve this, try the following: Check the power outlet. Use a different USB-C cable and power adapter. Try a different power outlet. If you've tried these steps and the issue persists, please contact our support team.
My Qwiek.embrace is connected to a power source, but won't turn on.	If your device is connected to a power source but still won't turn on, you may need to reset it. Open both the outer cover and the inner cushion using their zippers. Use a paperclip to press the small reset button located inside the device.
What do I do if my Qwiek.embrace has no sound or vibration?	If your Qwiek.embrace has no sound or vibration, it's likely unable to find its music files. This is indicated by the LED light blinking red. First, try performing a soft reset on the device. If this doesn't resolve the issue, please contact our support department for assistance.
My Qwiek.embrace controls aren't working, and the LED is blinking purple.	The purple blinking LED indicates that the control lock is activated. To release the lock, simply press and hold both buttons simultaneously.
Updates / Firmware & Connectivity	You can connect the Qwiek.embrace to Wi-Fi via the Qwiek.app. This keeps the software always up to date, as new features are added automatically and any security issues are resolved. The connection also provides insights into the usage of the Qwiek.embrace.
Does the Qwiek.embrace work offline?	Yes, the Qwiek.embrace can be used completely offline. Please note, however, that some (future) features will only be available when the device is connected to the Qwiek.app and Wi-Fi.
